Capture Methods & Prerequisites

The bot supports 3 different capture methods. Set up one of the following before starting:

Method 1 — Breloom

Classic high-reliability method. Breloom puts Ditto to sleep and reduces HP to 1 before you throw the ball.

Required moves:

Breloom must be leveled high enough that False Swipe leaves Ditto at exactly 1 HP.

Tank method. Forretress's Sturdy ability prevents a one-hit KO, making it safe even against transformed Dittos.

High-IV Dittos are extremely valuable for competitive breeding and fetch high prices on the GTL. Farming multiple Dittos gives you a reliable supply for your own team or to sell.

We recommend Method 3 — Vaporeon for most players. It's the most efficient, and the PayDay move generates extra Pokédollars on every encounter so you're earning money while you farm Dittos.
